For the fourth year in a row O’Fallon Casting participated in the St. Charles County Manufacturing Day at St. Charles Community College held on October 1st, 2019. Manufacturing Day helps to introduce the workforce of tomorrow to career and training opportunities in the manufacturing fields.
The day consisted of a Student Expo that had over 1,000-area middle and high school students at St. Charles Community College in Cottleville, followed by guided tours at 15 manufacturing facilities in St. Charles County. At the O’Fallon Casting booth, the students could view a demonstration on digital radiography, non-contact inspection, 3d printing, and could view actual parts from the facility. Some students were able to visit O’Fallon Casting and see the facility first hand.
O’Fallon Casting is always happy to participate in Manufacturing Day and promote manufacturing to the youth in the area.
